Ainsley is a full-on walker now. She clearly prefers walking to crawling at this point and takes every opportunity she has to get up and move. I've seen her take as many as 20 steps in a row and walk across the house. She also can catch herself if she begins to lose her balance. It's incredible how fast she's progressed!
We're now officially in our new house. There are many boxes to be unpacked, but for the past 5 days we've been sleeping and living in the new house. Ainsley loves all the new room - she is everywhere! In just a short period of time she's mastered going up the staircase (normally chasing a cat), but is still trying to go down face-first. We are working on her down form for sure.
On top of all that, Ainsley's 4th tooth has now come through. Having top and bottom teeth has helped her in learning how to take bites of food. We're giving her larger pieces of food and letting her "go at them" with her teeth. Messy for sure, but she loves to bite off and hold her own food. A few nights ago, Nan Nan and Pop took the family out for dinner to celebrate the new house. Ainsley really got going with spaghetti noodles. All the adults loved watching her suck the noodles into her mouth - she was so good!
The other new thing is that Mommy and Daddy put away the baby bathtub and Ainsley is taking baths in a full bathtub now. She's not quite sure what to do with all the room or with the slippery tub, but she's taken two baths in the big tub now.
